The Book Thief

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This book was a very deep and emotional book. Don’t get me wrong though, it was VERY good. This story is about a girl by the name of Liesel. She has to go live with some foster parents during World War II in Munich, Germany. She makes some friends, including Max, the Jew that the Hubermanns (the foster family) decide to hide in their basement. Many things happen, and this story is told by a very strange narrator… I don’t really want to spoil who the narrator is, so I won’t tell you, but if you comment and wish to know AFTER you’ve read/started the book, I will tell you.

5 out of 5 stars.

Markus Zusak is definitely a talented author with a good imagination.
