The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Very popular book/movie, so you probably know what’s it’s about, but I’ll give my own opinion on it. A little back ground first: I’ve never been one to like/read a lot of love stories. This book is definitely a love story, and I didn’t really want to read it, but my mom told that it was supposed to be really good, so I was like fine, I’ll read it for you. So I gave it a shot. It was about a girl named Hazel who had cancer. She meets Augustus Waters and they fall in love.
So, I ended up liking this book, I guess you could say that I like love stories with a twist. I don’t like you average love story with the girl falling in love and they live happily ever after. NO, I don’t like that. I like a twist, and this book definitely had that.
I wouldn’t recommend this book for anyone under the age of 13. It’s got some language and sexual content, but other then that, it was good. Haha.
4 out of 5 stars- I’m only giving it 4 stars, because I don’t like books with bad things in them (which most books have bad stuff in them these days) haha
