The Heir by Kiera Cass is the fourth and final (I think) book in the selection series. This book is told from the view of Princess Eadlyn, America and Maxon’s daughter. Eadlyn has always liked her parents romantic story, but she doesn’t want one of her own. Eadlyn thinks she’s a strong independent woman, and she doesn’t need a man to help her rule the country. However, her parents think that a selection would be good for the country of Illéa. Eadlyn caves and finds herself surrounded by 35 men, and she has to choose one even though she didn’t want love in the first place.
I thought this was a cool way to finish the series, and it was very well written. If you decide to read this, brace yourself for a rough ending.
