This Is What Happy Looks Like

This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith. This book was so cute and so good. I read it last night in like 4 hours. I was really in the mood for a romance, so I went to my shelf and said, “This looks good.” I took it to my room, and just sat down and read the whole thing. I was up past midnight, but it was totally worth it. This book was amazing, and made me feel so good inside.

This story starts with an unexpected email. Ellie receives and email from a 17 year-old guy who needs someone to walk his pet pig, Wilbur. The email wasn’t meant for Ellie, but nevertheless, it strikes up a conversation between the two. Little does Ellie know that her mysterious emailing partner is really the famous movie star, Graham Larkin. Graham doesn’t want to reveal his true identity, because he knows that Ellie wouldn’t have told him everything if she had known who he really was. So, when Graham finds himself in Ellie’s little town of Maine shooting a movie, he doesn’t know what to expect of the mysterious girl he’s been emailing who he couldn’t help but fall for. When the two finally meet they’ll discover the challenge of having a relationship that’s always in the spotlight, considering Graham is always in the spotlight too. Ellie doesn’t know if that’s what she wants, especially considering her hard past.

Again, this book was amazing, and I recommend it to anyone who just needs a good love story to read that will make them happy. Reading this book is what happy looks like. 🙂
