The Death Cure

IMG_1874

The Death Cure by James Dashner, is the third book in the Maze Runner series. In this book, the Gladers decide they’ve had it with WICKED. Thomas, Minho, Brenda, Jorge, and Newt need to get to a doctor to have the tracking devices WICKED placed in their heads, removed. The Trials are finally over, but everyone is dying because of the Flare. Can they defeat WICKED, and at the same time save their friends?

Pretty good ending to this trilogy, I am however, very excited to start The Kill Order, the Prequel to this series.

In my opinion, the Scorch Trials was my favorite book out of the three.

The Scorch Trials

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner is the second book in the Maze Runner series. In this book the Gladers must go through Phase 2 of the trials. They have 2 weeks to cross the “Scorch” and find the cure to the “Flare”, a disease they supposedly all have. The Gladers encounter many obstacles, and many new “friends” who they must deal with.

In my opinion, this book was better then the first book, “The Maze Runner”, but it was also creepier, and more disturbing.

The Maze Runner

The Maze RunnerĀ by James Dashner. This book is pretty popular right now since the movie came out and all. This book is about a group of boys who live in a maze. They get there and can’t remember anything but their names. One day, Thomas shows up and everything starts to change. The boys’ goal is to find a way out of the maze and get back their memories and families. The maze is very dangerous though, so it’s not that easy. Then, an unexpected visitor gets sent to the maze, and everything really does change.
