Isla and the Happily Ever After

Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins.

Isla has always been hopelessly in love with Josh, but he doesn’t know that, because she’s too shy. One day though, Isla has a surgery on her mouth, so she’s loopy from the gas, she may not necessarily be as guarded about her feelings towards Josh, like she usually is. Fortunately it turns out to be a good thing, and Isla and Josh fall deeply in love. But, being in love can sometimes be hard, and there is definitely a tough path ahead for Isla and her Happily Ever After.
I thought this book was very good. The ending was good, you can definitely count on Stephanie Perkins for that. And even though this book was good, it wasn’t my favorite out of the three. I definitely liked Anna and the French Kiss the best, but I do recommend all three books. I just didn’t really like the way the characters in this book came together. I can understand though that it is probably hard to write three romance books; trying to make sure that they dont all have the same cliche story. But Stephanie Perkins did a very nice job overall with this wonderful trilogy, that I recommend to anyone who just needs a feel-good love story.

5 out of 5 stars

Hello Rachel. I just discovered your blog and it’s great! I absolutely loved Anna and the French kiss and I agreed with your reviews. I’m from Venezuela and we have troubles here finding the books but I try to download the PDF and ePub. I LOVED the YA and NA books. I didn’t like that much to read but now I can’t stop it 😂

Well, keep doing what you do! ❤️
